Dylan Holloway says he's fully recovered and ready to roll for the 2025-2026 season.

Appearing on the Cam and Strick podcast Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, Dylan Holloway was asked to reveal the injury that ended his season that for some reason has been so cloaked in mystery. After the season, Doug Armstrong mentioned he had "had some work done," to which a reporter followed up and clarified, "surgery?" He answered yes. That's the most information that's been disclosed about Holloway's injury until now.

Hollywood told Cam and Strick he had an oblique tear that tore the oblique muscle from the hip bone, and a "pretty extensive surgery" was required to re-attach it.

Ouch.

Fortunately, the best news of all for the Blues and their fans came with the news that Holloway is now fully healed and ready to go for the 2025-2026 season. "I've been 100% for about the last 3 months," Holloway said. He continued: "I was hoping we'd go on a deep run [in the Stanley Cup playoffs] and I'd make a come back, but this year's the year."

Good news, welcome back Dylan Holloway.

Holloway became a fan favorite and a hell of a player last season, posting 63 points (26 G, 37A) and a +21 in 77 games. His production really started to noticeably pick up in the latter half of the season playing on a line with Jordan Kyrou, as Holloway posted 25 points (10G 15A) and a +9 in his final 25 games before suffering the season-ending injury. His production was sorely missed in the first round of the playoffs against the Winnipeg Jets, and at still only 23 years of age Blues fans have to hope he can stay healthy and continue his impressive ascension going forward.
