The numbers certainly aren't pretty, but at the end of the day you are what your record says you are. The Steelers are 3-1 after beating the Vikings in the international game, and Rodgers has now won almost as many games and he did in 2 years with the Jets.

Rodgers won 5 games with the Jets in 2024 after missing all but 4 snaps of the 2023 season with a torn Achilles suffered in Week 1. The Steelers already have 3 wins in their first 4 games with Rodgers at QB, and most importantly: a winning record.

As mentioned earlier, the numbers certainly aren't pretty -- not yet anyway, its early. In 4 games Rodgers has completed 68% of his passes, 8:3 TD:INT, 9 sacks, a 7.3 yards per attempt (OK), and has a QBR of 45.3 (bad). The 7.3 yards per attempt would rank him in the NFL's top 15 at this point in the year, but the 45.3 QBR is just a tick above the NFL's bottom 10.

There is plenty of season left to go, Rodgers and the Steelers offense may yet find another gear and turn this into a late-career comeback for Rodgers. But as of now, this isn't like Favre putting up career-best numbers at 41, Rodgers looks nothing like the Rodgers we came to know in Green Bay. But clearly he's doing something right, and Mike Tomlin finds ways to win every year. The Steelers aren't to be underestimated.

Going forward, the Steelers will play a tough next 4 games: vs. Browns, @ Bengals, vs Pack, vs. Colts. We will find out quickly if the 3-1 start is just a fortunate schedule draw or a sign of things to come.
